The Cheltenham Festival – A Bet Any Bettors Should Place At Least Once

Cheltenham festival which takes place on 14-17 March, 2017 is almost here and the tickets are on sale. It is one of the thrilling horse racing where more than 200,000 racegoers are expected this year to be held in Cheltenham racecourse, Gloucestershire, GL504SH. It is expected that 500 million pound will be gambled throughout the week long event. At least 25 races will take place during the week long event. The action is supposed to be explosive and fans across the globe are excited for the event.

14th March – Champion Day: Will feature the Stan James Champion hurdle. Other races are Supreme Novices Hurdle, Racing Post Arkle Trophy Steeple Chase, National Hunt Chase.

15th March – Ladies Day: Award given to best dressed female race-goer. The day also features the Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase. Other events are, Coral Cup, Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.

16th March – St Patrick’s Day: Get ready to celebrate Thursday as St Patrick’s Day as the “luck o the Irish” takes over the racecourse. Events which are days attraction are Ladbrokes World Hurdle, Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Steeple Chase, Ryanair Chase and few other races.

17th March – Cheltenham Gold Cup Day: The day everyone loves, climax of the entire jump racing event. JCB Triumph Hurdle, Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle, Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase, Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Steeple Chase are other races planned for the day.
